Empowering Families. Embracing Neurodiversity. Building Communities.

Supporting neurodivergent people and their families through culturally responsive support, education, advocacy and community connection.

A diverse group of families and community members connecting and supporting one another.

Welcome to UNDSN

Ubuntu Neurodiversity Support Network CIC (UNDSN) was created from lived experience and a belief that no family should have to navigate neurodiversity, services, stigma or isolation alone.

We recognise that families from ethnic minority and lower-income communities can face additional barriers when trying to understand neurodiversity, recognise different support needs and access appropriate health, education and social care support.

Our aim is to help families feel heard, informed, included and empowered.

At the heart of our work is the African philosophy of Ubuntu — “I am because we are.”

We believe stronger families help create stronger, more understanding and inclusive communities.

Who We Support

Our approach recognises that every person, family and community is different.

Culture matters. Lived experience matters. Being listened to matters.

What We Do

UNDSN supports neurodivergent people and their families through culturally responsive support, information, advocacy, education and community connection.

Why UNDSN?

For some families, receiving a diagnosis or recognising that a child may be neurodivergent can be the beginning of a confusing journey.

Questions can quickly follow:

UNDSN wants families to know that they do not have to find every answer by themselves.

We want to build a community where families can learn, connect, speak openly and become confident advocates for themselves and their loved ones.

Our Vision

A society where neurodivergent people and their families are understood, valued, included and empowered to thrive.

Be Part of the UNDSN Community

We are at the beginning of our journey and are building relationships with families, community organisations, professionals, volunteers and supporters who share our vision.

Whether you are a parent, carer, neurodivergent person, professional, community organisation, potential volunteer or supporter, we would love to connect with you.
