What We Do

UNDSN supports neurodivergent people and their families through culturally responsive support, information, advocacy, education and community connection.

Our work is shaped by lived experience and a commitment to ensuring families feel heard, informed, included and empowered.

Family Support & Connection

We aim to create opportunities for parents, carers and families to connect, share experiences and access practical and emotional support in a welcoming and understanding environment.

Information, Advocacy & Signposting

We aim to help families understand and navigate health, education, social care and other relevant services, while supporting them to feel more informed and confident when making decisions and advocating for their needs.

Neurodiversity Awareness & Education

We aim to promote greater understanding of autism, ADHD and neurodiversity through workshops, resources, community conversations and training, helping to reduce stigma and encourage inclusion.

Culturally Responsive Support

We aim to develop information and support that recognise culture, language, stigma and the different experiences families may encounter when accessing neurodiversity-related services and support.

Community & Partnership Working

We aim to work alongside families, community organisations, professionals and other services to identify gaps, share knowledge and develop meaningful solutions that respond to community needs.

Research & Lived Experience

We aim to listen to families, learn from lived experience and contribute to a better understanding of the inequalities affecting neurodivergent people and their families.
